Kassidy and Coen’s engagement film was special because it was the first time I’ve had the opportunity to film a proposal, something I wish I would have done when I proposed to Destiny. We dressed up the shoot as a give away, and Coen proposed when we gave them a prompt. Needless to say it was really sweet, and again, really special to be a part of capturing that in these two’s lives.
This little film is also a great example of music choice, which is something I spend a lot of time on. The right song, for the right couple, the right moments, the right shots, and the right mood are essential to making these films as special as they can be. When I came across this one, I knew it was it for Kassidy and Coen, and the whole thing came together really well after that! This is also the first video I shot on my Sony A7SIII which is now my main camera for my wedding shoots, and it really shows in the quality of the film.
